Hi I've been running my Xbox LIVE and Steam game code site for a few weeks now and I was getting the odd sale here and there, but they've stopped completely now!

I don't know why, I am active on forums, I wrote some blog articles and I have posts on facebook, I've even got people affiliating my site!!

I have adverts on loads of sites (I use project wonderful)

I have coupons and everything is completely automated - codes are emailed straight after purchase

I'm getting on average 100 - 200 hits a day but no one seems to want to buy anything!

I try to keep my stock updated and my content fresh, but I've got no money left now, I cant buy more stock I dont know what to do...

Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to boost my sales?

    My site is ebuddyuk.com

My honest opinion (from a user/customer point of view as I am not a web designer) why I would not buy anything from your website is it looks a bit unprofessional, so I dont think I would trust it as I would be worried that I will pay for a game and not receive it.

I think it needs a little bit of re-tweaking then you will start to see sales if competitive enough.

    Here is my quick .02:

Do you have any data on how the buying visitors were reaching your site? If they were getting to your site via search, what keywords were they using? Extract a list of such (converting) keywords and try to improve your SEO/rankings corresponding to those keywords.

I put the site at the bottom - you may have over looked it it's ebuddyuk.com

Currently most of the views i get is for my blog entries - for the game borderlands 2 unfortunately I get lots of organic views but google dont show me what keywords have been used..

Where is your site hosted? Okay - I just looked up the Whois and looks like you're with GoDaddy.

I'm not too sure about GoDaddy at the moment but most web hosts provide at least some kind of stats/log analysis feature by default. Check with your hosting provider and if available, you can use the stats report to find the search terms/keywords.

    All the best.

If you have a cPanel, you will probably find it under the 'Logs' group.

It happens. Sometimes I get the right kind of traffic and the sales are booming, but then I may have a lull in sales. It comes and goes so to say.

I havent located the key words but I have a good idea of what they are now by following customers when they are in the store

I find whenever i send out a newsletter i get a fair traffic boost and often a sale or two

I'm hiring a guest blogger hopefully this will increase the hits :)

Okay I haven't got a guest blogger yet - most of them charge a little out of what I can afford but I have been writing my own articles I'll tell you how that goes :)
