Can you recommend me some eCommerce script?
I want to run download store, possibly selling templates and need something basic(don't need shipping, taxes or stuff like this). I looked into osCommerce and ZenCart, but might be too complex for my needs.
Also easy template editing would be great.
    Any ideas or expiriances?

If your visitors can pick and choose from a number of items and add them to a shopping cart, you will probably want to look hard at something like osCommerce.

For something simple, like a single subscription system with one or two options, you can craft your own solution. Here, you need to know what information your payment processor needs and what information they will return when the transaction is approved.

The direction you take will also depend, to some extent, on how you plan to accept payment. If you are processing credit cards through someone like InternetSecure or iBill, you will need to pick systems which can handle those payment methods. If you are using PayPal, you may find more CMSes and similar systems with payment modules built into them.

Joomla, for instance, has an osCommerce module and another for PayPal called EZ Store.

Why don’t you try using CMS like joomla and add one of the many extension they have for e-commerce? I haven’t tried any myself but you might find something simple to use.
