eCommerce products and duplicate content

    I added a couple hundred products to my website via a datafeed downloaded from Share A Sale.

    I rewrote the title and description for each product to make them unique. I checked each one via Copyscape Premium to be sure.

    Here is the anatomy of a product listing:

    Here are my questions,

    Both descriptions on the listing page are exactly the same. Is this ok?

    Should I create my own SKU, or is the merchant's SKU fine?

    The descriptions are fine and I think that the merchant's SKU is fine. I would just use and if you encounter problems, adjust accordingly.
