    Yes, but I'd suggest better get yourself a customized one. Joomla is not for beginners, very confusing and not worth the time spent on it.

    Joomla is OpenSource and as well very stable if you just make the required updates as they are available. Further it has lots of plug-ins and modules which can easely be installed, alternative would be drupal or something also a good alternative is WordPress with some bridge to an shopping card like, OSC, CentCart etc...
