eCommecrce idea?

Hi all

I wanted to create eCommerce solution which would incorporate local shops in my area with specific niche. My idea is to create site where each registered shop could create a profile and advertise his items. I would do SEO and promotion and for that get a part of money.

Is this possible and with which software?

Yes it is possible to make this kind of site ,but you have to look after how you will earn for this service for the local shops.On the other hand you can make this e-commerce site by magento platform.

 

It is pretty similar to what does eBay and Amazon, generally, they offer space to sell your goods. What is your point?

I have a resembling idea... where I would be merging 2 different kinds of websites in to 1

LoL, just need the funds to get it start... TIll then I'm running my classified website (Buy Sell Bazaar)

 

An example of a company doing this successfully is freeads (co/uk)... but they started their website from a base of having a free national paper distribution for buying and selling stuff that had been running for many years.

Highly competitive area, it will take a big investment in marketing.

 

I agree, to market the website, it just can't do with online marketing... The website owners should also move to Print and Digital Media as well

You can search ecommerce site pluglins but you would have to be good at fixing software and any issues that may arise, you'll have to spend some money to get it done.

 

Yes, I am agreed with this, But if you affiliate your website with SEO then you will get better solution. Because if you have a good site but not with good ranking in Google SERP then You can not take advantage as compared to other e-commerce websites with effective SEO..
