www.webdirectory.com is an environment directory....right. Remember that "workshop" guy.....didn't he have an eco dir?
Oh how the most straightforward domain name can be wasted by such a useless site filled with paid links all across the board. Anyhow, thanks for the suggestions - I'll take these in my stride while I'm at it. Cheers
I didn't have one but your post made me realized that I had a bunch of environmental directories listed on web-directories.ws. I created a new list of environmental directories this morning. I have 15 eco-friendly sites to start so please let me know if you have one.
Thanks! Add this one: http://www.ecofirms.org/ I get most of my directory traffic from this one. About 1-2 hits a day. I submitted to others too but I forgot and I get no hits so I can't find out.
I kind of took an interest in the eco-friendly directories so I did some research and found a bunch more. I now have over 40 eco-friendly directories. I realize that the niche is important so I removed it as a Science sub-category and listed it as its own niche category
Check out The Green Directory. I hope this website is of use to you. Plus it has just had a forum added which is being developed further.
I'm running http://www.geesh.com It's a general website directory with a twist, taking a portion of the money generated from the directory to purchase carbon credits, which are used to offset the carbon footprint created by your shared hosting. You get a backlink, and a "carbon-neutral" logo for your site, and we all get to help the earth out a little bit.
