I have a premier account in paypal. I just was sent echeck payment of $80 to my premier paypal account..

Now isnt this a credit card payment? And if this payment is charged back, then paypal will listen to me or immediately send money back.

Once I was sent $1500 and it was returned back before even I was asked to say anything. And it never worked, i sent them emails but money was charged back because the money was fake according to them.

From then I dont believe in credit card payments.

And the member here has 0 posts and only 1 itrader.

Should I return the money and not sell banner ads to this person because it is a credit card payment.

I dont want to lose money if the money is charged back after 45 days and this will be like I gave 45 days free advertising and lost all the money?

    please advice!

Play SAFE. I would say avoid it and sell it for $70 to a reputed member.

A Paypal echeck is a payment funded through the payer's bank account. It will take a few days to clear. If you do not want to accept this payment, you could deny it or issue a refund.

As to whether you want to sell or not, it is really up to you.

Well, not everyone sells things through Paypal and if they do not sell, they will not have any existing funds in their paypal account. Besides there is only a limited number of countries which can receive funds but a lot of which could send payment. There is nothing wrong in receiving credit card payments as it is an excellent payment mode, however you need to do your due diligence on the buyer because in the end even if they pay via existing funds, they can still open a dispute and win.
