    Hey all,

Just looking for some feedback. I've been a clickbank user for ages, but never had any luck with it... Like ZERO...

Well, I had access to a domain that was not being used, so I posted a new website to promote ClickBank products.

    Enter http://www.ebusinessmaterials.com/

My goal is to collect all the "Make Money" programs on clickbank and start a blog post about each one. I think it will allow people to read and comment on them, and will obviously give me exposure for the products.

Thoughts? Sounds like it could work..

    Great idea...

I wish you the best of luck.

I have just sent you a PM with two products that I think would fit in well.

    Thanks all!

It's more of an experiment at this point. I'm a web developer by trade, so I'm putting a bunch of industry tricks into it. Things like tracking RSS subscribers with Feedburner, doing a basic PPC campaign to get traffic going, and cross linking with other sites I run. I'm also doing keyword analysis of when setting up the SEO on both markup and urls.

If this system really works, I'm hoping to see some results. My goal is to approach it with a clean-cut professional approach.

    Cheers!

Nice idea to have people comment on the products. You will have new content and reviews almost written for you. Posting on affiliate forums about your website should bring you some traffic.

Also, I am not blogging very much but I am sure there are plugins to let people rate the product. I think I saw somewhere a wordpress plugin for posts rating and popular posts. (Who said web 2.0 ? ;)). So you should be able to tell your readers give their opinion + rate the product (the post actually).

I think this way new readers will see posts that have been read more than others or top rated products and you can have an automatic ranking of the products you are listing.

I am not sure I have been very clear but you have the idea (that doesn't mean it's a good one !).

Anyway searching or asking in the blogging section of this forum should help you more I think.

    Cool, thanks for feedback.

This really is just an experiment. I'm not sold on the affiliate thing just yet. I figure if i set something up right, solid, and honest I will find out if the buzz is all that.

I'm going to give this one a good run!

Okay then, it was just an idea. another : if you allow comments by registered people, you could also build your list.

Hey, good point. Right now I have it open to get some traffic building. I will lock it down a bit more later.

    Cheers!

I'd recommend building the list now rather than later. Keeping the site open will do little to build more traffic it actually wastes it. If you build a list you then have some control to drive users back to your site.

Sadly, its not the best sites that succeed it the best marketers. (I can make a better burger than McDonalds in my sleep but I will never sell as many)

    Good luck

    Hey All -

I moved on from the clickbank thing for now and focused on other things. I may return to it later.

I wanted to mention that I am going to sell the "eBusinessMaterials.com" domain if anyone is interested in throwing me an offer. Even in the short time I used it, I saw the search engines really seemed to give it a lot of attention.

PM me if interested. I honestly believe a great site/business could be built using the domain.

    Cheers!
