I'm on their mailing list. Between their various newsie identities (Webpronews, SecurityProNews, etc) I received 44 emails in July... about 1.4 per day.

As the screenshot below indicates I may only look at about 1 of 10, so I figure in exchange for the information it doesn't harm me to go to the onerous exercise of deleting the rest. The response seems pretty standard given I opted for the service to start with and could spam filter it into oblivion if I thought it was a problem.

Not sure why any one person would get multiple times the amount I get, but I guess there are practices that could result in that. Just hasnt been my experience, so I feel no need to slam their directory. Some of the stuff they send is pretty helpful.
