Dcristo, I am related to eBrandz. I am not sure if you can categorize link emails as SPAM. As fas as I know, eBrandz does not send Bulk email. All emails are send by includes and addresses individual website owner. However, I can understand how frustrating link emails can be (I myself get tons of them everyday). If this is a big problem to you, go to the About us section of eBrandz and send an email to any of the management team. I think it should help you resolve the matter.
They are number 13 for "search engine optimization" in Google. At one time they were in top 10. They got a great client list too. They may or may not be the best, but must be good for sure.
