Ok recently read Day Job Killer and Affiliate Project X. They were both the 2007edition They are also created by the same author. Affiliate project X Jan 07 edition Ok well i read Affiliate project x, its actually the first ebook i have read in regards to adwords and PPC. Its was a interesting read, but most of the stuff in there is too obvious and are over saturated methods. Its ok for beginners, because it gives you a overview of basic strategy's. I will give it about 6.8/10 Day Job Killer 07 edition This book is basically Affiliate Project X just written in a different style. A bit longer then affiliate X but i think it was really a waste of time. The strategy's in there can easily be obtained on here (digital point) from other users. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY Rating 5/10 More Reviews to come soon. Please recommend me other ebooks to read and review
Yes i know, but still want to review some more ebooks. I think ebooks are great for beginners but not experts like you.
I am far from an expert. All I meant was, most e-books on Adwords are not that good. Don't waste your money buying such resources when you can learn more for free by simply going through this forum or Adwords' own materials.
I wouldnt say all ebooks useless. They each contains valuable information and experiences that the author went through. I've seen creative concepts and ideas out of them. Read and think about them, develop and apply those concepts and use it as part of your adwords strategy. One can never stop learning. They do no harm
Don't waste your money on those ebook as those gurus are talking crap i think. But if you really want to do review why dont' you try Adsense Secret 4.0 by Joel Comm.
Personally, I am not a fan of most PPC ebooks as they can't really help you that much (there is no secret formula), but I have liked most affiliate marketing guides that I have read.
PPC marketing ebooks are just a way for "gurus" to generate income. They are not releasing any secret facts and they are by no means professional marketers. I do agree its good to read them, just to see what they say, but by no means will they every rank about a score of 1 out of 10 for insight and profitability.
Ebooks are a waste of money unless some newbie doesn't have time to look around this board or other boards but even so its not worth the money. Everyone and their grandmother has an ebook and most of it is recycled material, I love how people that make a few hundred dollars think they are good enough to write on something. Any secret would not be revealed in a publication like that and basic strategy is easily obtainable so I would stay clear but thats just my opinion but thanks for the reviews
I agree that these ebooks simply make their authors richer, but I wouldn't say that the ebooks are useless. There quite a lot to learn from them, even if you are not a beginner. I've read many quality Adwords ebooks, and I was satisfied with all of them. Here's my list: Adwords Miracle Beating Adwords Google Cash Google Money Pro Adwords TNT Adwords Made Easy Adwords Profits Google Magic Formula Perry Marshal's Guide To Adwords By the way, if someone's got Adwords Profits 2, please PM me. Thanks
You have read all these books, yet you have major campaign issues, cant turn a profit and have got many accounts banned... If your following their advice, this just goes to show these methods don't work and that many of them are old techniques that they used to be able to get away with and are no longer valid. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but I don't know how you can give them positive statements with such results.
yes and no... I think there is more valuable information in forums and free information on the internet than in those pricey ebooks. The hard part to learn the basics and best practices, because ebooks and many sites do not reference that early essential facts, like how to structure a campaign, and what all the setting do. Googles help is best for that. So I recommend first reading the google help section and becoming a certified adwords professional. If you can pass that test then you have the basic knowledge on how to construct campaigns properly and you will know what all the settings mean. Then you can use these forums and adwords blogs to learn the more in depth stuff like essential landing page items, better text ads, quality score theory, strategy and other topics
If you're looking for a free resource, there are plenty out there... There are many blogs out there from industry experts, most of whom would probably answer questions. Google's guide is very good for the basics. And I wrote a guide last year (see my signature). It needs updating, but it's free to read, and I'm happy to answer questions. I think a few other people on here have free guides as well...
Ebooks are pretty much useless. They are case studies in hype and no substance. If you want to learn adwords, sure you can read about it, but think about this: If you wanted to learn to ballroom dance, would you read a book on it?
most of the ppc ebooks seem to be recycled and out-of-date. The on-line help adwords provides has been pretty useful for me as well as this forum. Actually putting into practice the techniques in a controlled fashion vs. just throwing stuff out there is quite helpful.
Yeah i'm going to print out the entire google adwords FAQ's page and read that and compare what i have gained from that with ebooks i have read.
I would read bible instead of adwords ebooks. They really show in bible how to make loads of money Just make some really good things to as many people as you can and it will eventually return...
