Hey guys, Its seems clickbank products have come to the point where a simple pdf download is not enough anymore. Im not complaining, I love it. It's good to see video products getting more and more popular. It should weed out those "overnight vendors" that just want to make a quick buck. New vendors: Put a little time and money into your products and you will find much more success. You dont have to risk your money either. Dont go spending 10k on videos on a market that you havent tested first. Test a market before investing in it. To test a market you can setup a simple PPC campaign and on your landing page simply say something like "would you be interested in a product like....... If so, enter your name and email below" If you get 5+ opt ins per day, it might be a market worth investing in. You can then email your list after creating the product. Who knows, you may recoup your video investment just from this email! If the market is a flop you have only lost your PPC costs, not 10k on a video nobody will watch. Regards, Drew
Makes more sense ... where do find people to do videos .... i have been thinking about this and need a reference
I love video I think it is easier to watch and learn then to read and figure out. Every product I put out this year was a video course except for one audio product. Mike
Videos are the next big thing .. Unfortunately they don't work with all niches. Swerd is right, testing can always give you an idea if a product will convert or not. There's tons of products out there that haven't seen success simply because they not targeted to a hungry "Buying Niche" .. Thing is and I'd like to tell everyone, no doubts about it.. The health, wealth and love/dating niches are quite the highest converting amongst all in clickbank. I might get a little of topic sorry about that .. Now, another niche that has been very profitable is the Green Energy niche and you might ask yourself why.. In reality people are fed up with all the high bills, yes it's true! And not only but people are always looking for ways to protect the environment so The green energy niche is the most solid solution. There's millions of potential buyers in all these niches daily surfing through all the search engines. And to get back to the point of this thread, yeah Ebook still do pretty great but trends change, customers get more and more difficult and there lesser of them that will just pull their credit cards out .. just for an ebook. Hence.. some video material would change the whole situation. Al.
Don't forget you can also include other digital deliverables (depending on the niche and product of course). Graphics, resource files (spreadsheets etc), software, access (private members area, private forum etc) services (copywriting etc) and so on. There is a chance PDFs might not be enough to justify the price in some niches, and that's when you need to expand into other areas. Physical products is a whole other ball game...
Well I totally agree I'm selling software. I'd love to sell an eBook - much less support to do, but its much harder to sell a PDF for $30 than a piece of functional software. Have a look at the sig link | | | | |
I agree with Precious007 that videos don't work for all niches. Ebooks still work whether its CB or anything else. Just videos can't do the thing. Ebooks are necessary. Videos are just an "addition", a bonus that eases things. Not that just a video will make your job easier, but having a video tutorial along with a complete informative ebook will make your job easier.
I think there is still plenty of room for eBooks, especially with the advancements of smart phones. While most folks don't have a laptop with them 24/7, they do have their mobile devices. People can read eBooks on their iPhones when time permits and will be doing this more and more often in my opinion.
