eBook on "How to Work Hard and Make Money Online"

I have been reading a lot of eBook by other DP members, as well as eBooks that I buy online here and there.

Since I have now completely stop working 9 to 5 and making money from Internet alone, I am tempted to write one myself and share it with others.

The only problem is, when I reviews what I have done, I discover that there is no "secret" in what I have been doing. My recipe for getting 10x my salary job is:

    - a lot of hardwork
    - a little idea (since I basically provide "Value Added Services" over existing products)
    - a lot of encouragement from friends (it is really difficult as most people around me just shake their head and walk away... it is Malaysia here!) (luckily I have my wife, my ex-boss, and a handful of supportive friend)

Now, my question is, will you buy such a book for $99 (not $9.90) and follow the steps I took (and even improve on it) ?

seems a little expensive but then again i have readed the most and almost all that stuff cant be used if you dont spend a ton of money and work your but out. I now i have to work but most is to timecomsuming and expensive too i really would give it a try. But if you can improve on things you have done like how to find out wich kind of site you will run and how to find out how to run it without paying a million, and then can you provide rescource links to places where it can be found

If you have a compelling copy, if you can convince your visitors, they will pick it up.

But you should also know that, from when you started working to now there have been a lot of changes. Things are not the same. Ensure that while writing "your" step by step, you point them in the right direction, telling your buyers how and why things are different.

Also be a lil careful, if you claim that your system will work 100% for others too. What works for you may not for others. A lot of constraints will be around it.

I'm not trying to discourage you, but instead asking you to be a bit careful and watch the new trend and write your pieces of advices.

Money Making niche is quite good to be in ;).

    All Success,

    - all books are junk until you put it to use. Many people buy books and ebooks but never read non use it.

Anyway, personally I think the eBook will be a good tool for me to get in touch with hardworking people who can partner with me.

Many people think working online mean EASY work or NO work at all. Some think that working online = passive income. But for me, it is not PASSIVE, more like being my own boss instead of a fixed salary job.

i hear you. i just started recently, and i have to say that besides my mom, everyone else is eager to know how i made some money 'doing nothing', but when they hear a little about it, they shout 'scam' first.

$99 is probably a little too high, considering that you admitted that it is basically no secret, which means it is geared towards beginners, which probably means they may not be willing to part with such money (unless your sales copy is a killer).

don't let that comment bother you. i've never seen a helpful post by that poster before.

anyway i think you should go ahead and write the book. :)

personally i wouldnt pay $99 for an ebook, i wouldnt even pay $49 for one. i think the key here is to create a great ebook, give away 2 review copies so people can review it on DP, then sell them at $8.99 each and sell 100 of them, rather than only selling maybe 2 at $99.

you will sell a lot more at a smaller price then you will at $99. not many people will pay that, unless you can prove that they will easily earn back that money with the information provided in your book with little effort.

I think you will NOT get many sales; it has nothing to do with the price, rather the topic itself.

There are many people who want to make quick money; they will throw away $99 or $497 or more for a e-product that claims "make a million in 1 month"; and after spending thousands, will walk away saying all ebusiness is a scam. Such a person WON'T buy a book that says "a lot of hard work".

OTOH - the kind of person who is willing to work hard may not be willing to shell out $99 for an ebook; typically the people who are willing to work hard are the ones who don't have too much money upfront. Once they have learnt the ropes and have a business / income stream going, they also know that many of these are available for free on the internet.

    Sending you a PM.

Your thoughts would make a very good blog, by breaking everything down into "steps", or even making it a weekly series or something. That might do better than a PDF.

I am not sure that the ebook alone with sell for $99 but what if you upped the value with some audio, maybe a workbook that newbies can follow with a step by step plan. Maybe some interviews with those that have been successful using your plan (recruit some people to test it on).

You can also use video to show them how to do certain things for example, submit articles, how to build a site, etc.

These are just a few ideas to boost the value.
