    if the niche is noncompetitive, it is likely that there isn't a market for it. If you really want to write an ebook find something that you can actually write about. It should be something you enjoy and are very knowledgeable about.

    Chose something you're interested in
    Look it up in Google Trends and Insight - if increasing then good
    Visit forums and Yahoo Answers to see what people want to know about the subject
    Make each topic a chapter
    Write it and sell it.

    It doesn't matter how high the competition is, it's all in how you advertise/promote it.

    I'm in dating and "how to make money with your website," so those are VERY competitive.

    I don't care, though, because nearly all don't know how to promote what they have, they do not advertise. They foucus too much on twitter shit, seo, signatures, social networks, and other free methods that don't work.

    Look at it that way.
