Hey guys Ok, after some more research i have come to the conclusion that "most" business related ebook products are related to internet marketing! i.e. making money as an affliate, cpa, adsense etc etc OR how to make money online in general. My question is, is there a market for a "how to guide" on how to set up an offline business? I have had a look and there's not much, but is this because people dont want this type or info/sales wont be that high? I have a great idea on a subject to write about but not sure if it'll sell many thanks tony
Offline business needs investment and time. It's harder than online business ,at least most of them think so.
Make a landing page and try selling an amazon book about the subject of your choice using Adwords. Then you'll know what kind of demand is there for such a product. Its a good way of testing a new idea. You will lose money here but its a nice way to test a market.
If you properly execute your idea it could sell. It could work out well. However, the market is competitive, so it won't be easy.
I'd leave such a project for the more experienced vendors that already have a name in the Internet Marketing field. Instead you can focus on a slightly different subject, a hobby of yours for example. Al.
Thanks for the repys guys. I have some really good ideas in this niche and i'm sure they'd mak great products. Just the fact that i need people to buy them! lol
My experience differs: I had a look and was overhwelmed by how much there was. My local bookstore has endless shelves full of books on how to set up an offline business. There may not be much online but I'd be very nervous of the niche, myself, in case there are good and valid reasons for that. If you're a qualified accountant, lawyer, business-school professor or something of the kind, and can approach it with obviously apparent credibility, there might be possibilities there, I suppose ...
if ur an expert on your field, get a good copywriter to pen your pitch into words for the sales pitch. your experience into words will take care of the product. i believe that you will never know if you never try. good luck.
