    I just wrote my ebook using openoffice the other day, works better than acrobat professional in my opinion.

    Using Open Office to create the pdf is a great FREE way to do it. I found this process a little confusing.

    I like this one:

    It's super simple, and there's only one thing to install. The $12.95 was worth it to me.

    Microftsoft Office 2010 is my recommendation. You can easily save your document as PDF.
