yes you can... there is no issue at all - but you should just check that your paypal do have sending limit - as it is not verified (the limit for sending in non-verified paypal is $100) if you are within then you can surely purchase. Hope this helps...

then you should open the paypal in your mom's name - because paypal acts very sensitively to all this... so its better not to do other way round stuff... suggestion:: Use the credit which you have in your paypal account and then close the account by following the link present under the "Profile Link" of your paypal account and when the account is closed... then open new account in your mom's name with her credit card information - but just keep in mind dont use the same email address again to which you have closed the account with - paypal dont allow it... hope this clarifies every situation...
