I've sold on eBay for a long time and when I started out I would sell the same thing and undercut my competitors, but just not get the sales I now have an account with over 7000 positive feedback and can out sell most people even at higher prices, so feedback is a MASSIVE factor However also look at your listing, I use full html templates, not just typing in the desctiption, this also helps alot If you are serious about selling on eBay and building a profitiable business, firstly don't sell something with huge competition from countries that can get the same thing dirt cheap, nameley mobile phone accessories - unless you reside in the manufacturing country, you will never be able to compete unless you buy at massive volume Secondly, if you are not confident with html, pay someone who is to design your listings, DON'T use the free eBay template design softwares out there as they all look the same and IMO don't really do you any justice And finally, probably most important of all, give customer service second to none - if you say something, do it. Don't say you will despatch in 1 working day and take a week, don't say you will take returns, then refuse, don't say you will refund a buyer ff they return the product, then don't eBay is all about trust, get the buyers trust (mainly from feedback) and you will do well
