I've asked the ebay team for an answer to this question but they've passed it on and I think it might be some time before I hear from them. My husband wants to join ebay and buy something using my affiliate links and his own computer. Does anyone know if he can do this? It's not really very clear from their rules and regs.
As long as the IP address does not conflict and such transactions do not happen frequently, you might be able to earn the commission. It won't be a loss for you trying anyway.
I've had a definitive reply which is: "You and your Agents will not click on Promotional Content containing your own Tracking Code." The definition of an agent is: "Agent - a sub-affiliate, sub-publisher, distribution partner or any other similar third-party relationship through which you intend to participate in a Program."
...and they've confirmed, "Yes, you may have your husband make a purchase using your link." Goodee. That means I'll get my birthday present.
