    Honestly I don't know much about this but it sounds interesting.

    They are phasing out their legacy schema but will continue to support SOAP, XML, .Net, Java and REST. Um, ok just go a read the article if it is of interest. My last cut and paste:

    "Approximately 45 percent of all listings on eBay.com are facilitated through eBay Web Services."
