Ebay vs Amazon?

I saw a lot of Internet Marketer prefer to sell Amazon product rather than ebay? Do you know what is the actual reason behind? Please help if you know why. Thanks

 

In the last year, many ebay affiliates have shifted over to amazon because ebay introduced a new way to pay you - "Quality Click Pricing" (QCP). The problem is, they do not tell you the criteria that they base the 'quality' of your traffic on, which makes it hard to optimize your sites to earn more per click.

In contrast, the amazon affiliate program converts quite well, and after getting paid $0.08 for a $75k transaction on ebay, you can see why the up-front payouts on amazon is attractive.

 

Amazon does have good conversion rates, but the downside is that they only have a 24 hour cookie. So you need to make sure you are targeting people who are ready to buy.

 

I think this post says it all. It's all about the pay off and ebay just doesn't add up.

i think because ebay has so much worthless junk... amazon at least have better quality products

 

Ebay is too greedy these days.Can't make any money with their final value fees then their paypal fees.Baically they are taking 40 % of the sale price 30% on ebay and 10 % on paypal.Someone needs to step up and make a new way for honest people to buy and sell cause Ebay isn't working anymore.Ebay is all for EBAY and no one else.

 

Amazon because it doesnt cost a thing to list!

The item stays listed until it sells or you remove it.

 

Amazon should ship worldvide and Ebay should accept credit cards.

 

I always buy books from Amazon, but never buy anything from Ebay. I'm don't know why, just don't want to go there.

 

Yes amazon does a great job of converting traffic.
