based on my experience, I have almost 2 years worked on adsense and just get pennies..it is so pathetic, but I just took 2 months on ebay and get 100 times more profit than my adsense. But for other people of course will different. because for me, I hate write articles, build blog, get traffic, etc. On ebay, it is a short cut. There are a lot of buyers (million) come to ebay daily and ready with their cash in hand to shop. You just need to list your item and let ebay market it.
Which is better, apples or oranges? You are comparing two completely different programs, with different capabilities, and even possible earning potential.
Absolutely. Orange laptops just suck. Seriously though, the question is almost meaningless. The poster upthread was correct when saying it's like comparing apples and oranges. Adsense is used to generate revenue through advertising while the eBay Partner Network (EPN) is also used to generate revenue, but in a different way. True, they both use ads, but while Adsense can be plopped onto virtually any site, the EPN has to be integrated a bit differently. (Now, I don't have tons of experience with EPN, so I'm not familiar with whether they have the huge variety of link-types that Adsense does.) While Adsense is used to drive people (almost any type of surfer) to an advertiser's website (which can be, well, virtually any type of website), the EPN is used to drive buyers to a specific eBay item or page. It can be a bit limiting when you look at it that way. I am not sure, but I think you might also be able to put Adsense and EPN ads on the same page. Check that out; you may not have to make this choice.
