Can someone please confirm/explain this for me... Someone comes to my site and buys a surfboard from Sydney, Australia. > User follows eBay.com.au link = apx 15c for a bid/sale > User follows eBay.com and buys the same surfboard = percentage of the seller fee. Which is a crap load more than 15c. ----- eBay.co.uk and eBay.com.au both pay apx 15c per bid/sale - regardless of the item sold - it's the same for a pair of Elmo socks, or a Ferrari. eBay.com pay a percentage of the seller's fee. So a big $ sale will ultimately result in a bigger commission. eBay.com list items from .co.uk and .com.au - and can be 'localized' to show only UK or AU items. Using eBay.com, people can still buy the same 'local' UK or Australian items, but we get the benefit of eBay.com's much higher commision. So what's the point of the 15 cent .co.uk and .com.au programs on CJ then?
The eBay AU affiliate program is a rort I would imagine you would have to be also signed up to the eBay.com program to receive commissions for purchases made on that site.
I have been using ebay AU and made a total of 15 cents. I haven't had much traffic, but nonetheless I could have been making a lot more promoting something else in my opinion.
