Ebay-Tutor.com is a website dedicated to Ebay entrepreneurs. The site contains around 7-8 articles about eBay selling and purchasing, but the primary goal of the site is to register visitors for the EAuction Toolkit, which is absolutely free to all visitors (minus $4.95 S&H). Commissions for signups are extremely high…..at $29.95 per signup.

The site is being sold due to income that is needed for a piece of software I am developing. I don’t really want to let this site go since it makes an easy income of $150-$200 per month without hardly any maintenance, but I have big plans for my new project.

Ebay-Tutor.com has been running for a little under 5 months and has made me a net profit of around $900. The homepage has been split-tested for maximum conversions at around 2.5-3%. Conversions are very soft due to the toolkit being almost free plus the free ebook offer I have posted on the site helps out a lot too.

The ebook offer I have posted on the “Free Ebook Offer” webpage increased conversions by nearly 130%. Once they signup for the free ebook and download, visitors receive followup messages and tips about the EAuction Tutor Toolkit, which brings them back to the website for purchase.

Most of the income is derived from Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing. The winner of this auction will be receiving time-tested, high converting keywords for both campaigns. Anyone wanting to spend time in SEOing can, but I have always made a great profit with sticking to PPC.

Most of the income from this site is generated from affiliate commissions with Azoogle.com. It’s simple and easy to signup. The rest of the revenue is from Adsense, which usually brings in $20-$25 per month. The winning bidder may want to experiment with taking down Adsense, as it may be affecting your main source of revenue with Azoogle.

    Good Luck on Bidding!

    Revenue Details:
Primary income is from affiliate commissions with Azoogle - $29.50 per signup.

Secondary is from Google Adsense - $20-$25 per month.

The site NETS $150-$200 per month.

    Traffic Details:
Mostly PPC. Some come from the SEs for long tail keywords, but not much.

PPC keywords are around .40 to .60 per keyword click. Not bad at all. Net profit is great due to this.

Time-Tested, High Converting keywords are included. :D

you need to hide 'clicks, ctr and eCPM' from the adsense screenshot.

Do you have a reserve in mind?

    Your Right...thanks.

Well....no reserve. At the top is listed the starting bid price ($200) and then the BIN price ($700).

This guy is a scam artist. I got robbed $800 for a similar site that I purchased on SitePoint.

He also promised me "great income with my keywords". Please PM if you want more details.

I would not recommend dealing with him. If you do I would use Escrow.com with a 2 month trial at minimum.

JTCentral is another so called "victim" of purchasing a site and expecting immediate income right after purchase. He purchased a site from me, that was clearly posted on the auction that it was primarily receiving traffic from PPC.

Three days after the site was setup by JT, he demanded a refund, stating the site wasn't making him any money. He had asked me several questions about setting up his PPC management which I was happy to answer, but then proceeded to tell me that I needed to setup his whole Adwords account for him and literally start making the money for him. He had no clue as to how to run a PPC campaign, which is fine, but then calls it scam once he doesn't get his way.

Everything he purchased, he received. Every site purchased by a new owner of any kind should realize that there is effort and some bit of skill involved into producing revenue for a site, unless the site guarantees that income will come in through natural methods, which most do not guarantee.

JT, seems to be throwing the "scam" word around like it's his favorite line. It is not me who scammed you, it is yourself. If you needed any help with the website within reason, I was there to assist, but the purchase was not set forth for me to run it for you.

I should have done more research first...I got scammed because I did not use Escrow.com or research first:

    The auction:
    http://www.sitepoint.com/marketplace/auction/6496

    Claimed this:
Here he is paying someone to build the header for it on March 15th

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=269815

John Hinkle...I will continue this until I get my $800 refund. I know all your sites...I know where you frequent. I will get $800 or continue to warn others until you make this right.

Again, as stated above, the buyer received everything that was promised to him. I told him many times that I would help him out with the site, but cannot run his entire PPC campaign. The site was generating a nice chunk of revenue for me before I sold it, but I also know how to make money on the PPC side of marketing.

JTCentral has clearly stated in emails that he will be purposely sabotaging my forum posts in the future. This is his way of trying to somehow "get revenge", which I think is truly inmature.

JTCentral, out of all the slanderous remarks you have made, I am still willing to help out, but again, I cannot run the website for you, like you want me to. This was never a "scam" as you frequently use the word, and is a great site, all it needs is the right attention.

To anyone truly interested in purchasing the Ebay-Tutor site and has some bit of PPC know-how, I can easily show you how to make $200 a month off of it.

Please don't let JTCentral deter any truly interested buyers into purchasing the site above. Again, I do not SCAM people and my intentions are true.

Not after revenge...simply stating facts to prevent other people from making my mistakes. Facts clearly show that the site was not operational on March 15th per your own words. Yet you showed stats dating back to December when you sold it???

John, why don't you post up those nice affiliate stats screenshots that are no longer on the auction. Show us how that non-operational domain name was magically earning that money eh?

The site had been operational since December. If you want to post stats you can. You should have all the info. I gave it to you.

Your pathetic in your attempts to discredit me JT. Fill up this thread with whatever accusations you want to throw at me. You are an inmature little boy who needs to grow up and decide to take responsibility for your actions. You could be spending more productive time on learning PPC or marketing the site you purchased than rambling on about on about my "scammy ways"!

So you choose the later......from what I have heard throughout the following, I am not surprised.

How much are you spending per month to make the $200?

Also, you didn't seem to respond to the other "scam" claim posted: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=126587

    Any comments on that?

I may be interested in bidding if you can clear a few things up here.

The $150-$200 is what the website nets. I generally spend anywhere from $75 to $125 a month with the keywords I have chosen for this niche. Each sale is $29.50. Conversions have recently been between 1.5 - 2%. The website grosses at around $250-$325.

The other post again....not a scam. I had the writer send me 2 test articles in order to see what the quality of his writing skills were. He sent them over and I did not approve. I did get back at him after he left the message. We were communicating via email and never received an alert from Digitalpoint that he left that comment on the thread.

I have just recently paid username: "Coby DuBose" for some articles and "Zinrus" for a graphics header. Both again for paid for their time.

Check again. The domain was purchased a month and a half ago. The domain resided on ebay-tutor.affiliatereveiwed.com beforehand, thus why there is no PR rank.
