Despite the fact this is fake, I hope it gets re-posted and so widely distributed that it does some damage. Getting quite sick of eBay forcing Paypal and Paypal closing accounts for stupid reasons. I don't know about banning sellers, it is a wonder why the sellers haven't yet packed up and left. I am going to start my own auction site and take them down. it will be called xd2bay.com (don't register it before I do please) I need around, $5 billion of investers for advertising, who is with me
Ebay has been pushing to get rid of sellers for a while. They already knocked out most small sellers like me. Sad...
For those who aren't powersellers, I can see the anger between you and eBay. However, to dig things even deeper, they've pissed of the powersellers included big time, with the new best match. The amount of people going crazy on the eBay powerseller boards is crazy, with the amount of business they are loosing due to the new best match feature. I think sooner or later eBay is going to really shoot themselves in the foot, and another competitor (Google, pull your dam finger out) will come into the market and face big competition for eBay. Even though this "announcement" is a parody, I really think there is some truth in it. Regardless of what eBay tells us, they don't respect their seller, the do want to weed out the small sellers, and they want to dominate the market with their service, and rake in more and more profit. Them seem to forget that actions speak louder than words, and their actions since November 07 have showed exactly those points I've just listed. If I didn't have an income through eBay, I'd steer well clear of them... Oh, and eBay are now REWARDING people for leaving neg/neautral feedback! Look what you guys could be getting the the lovely eBay next time you neg someone: Yea, it's a true... a discount coupon!
Lol I thought this had to be too weird to be true and of course it is not true. If you look on the Ebay Forums they are just making fun of the claims and it is just a fake written article, with no truth behind it !
Ohhh shew. I'm glad to know that this article's just a parody. As an animal lover I was really angry over the whole "if somebody else's pet attacks someone, we should shoot our own pets too!" thing.
This is fake, but I almost thought there would be the huge niche of internet auction there for the taking.. Because this would spell the downfall of Ebay.
