ebay store, or direct link in Adwords?

Instead of setting up an ebay store, wouldn't it be better to directly link to ebay, using your affiliate url, in Adwords?
Has anybody tried this?

 

You can not link directly to Ebay through Adwords, you must link to your site first. Against TOS.

 

Has anyone tried?
Do they detect it immediately?

 

I tried a long time ago, they did not detect me, but I wasted a lot of money in adwords, with no commissions. Could have been a bad niche though. I would suggest a ebay store. see my signature for a easy way to build them if you dont know php
