Just read an online Wall Street Journal article saying that eBay sales are down. eBay thinks that it is due to the fact that there are not many hard to find toys other than Zhu Zhu pets this year. Think again eBay! They are in denial. They don't understand that changing commissions to a lousy 14 cents per click ( which is what I think most people are getting these days), is certainly an incentive for affiliate marketers to adjust their sites to Amazon or Adsense sites I'd like to see the old pay structure back, to where we actually get a % of the sale. I'm thinking that if we all post a comment on the WSJ article about the reason why eBay sales are down, that WSJ might end up writing a story about it. Who knows... maybe it will make eBay open their eyes and go back to the old system. Here's the article: http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2009/12/07/ebays-holiday-season-killer-is-zhu-zhu-pets-but-little-else/?mod=
Agreed agreed agreed, though I can see that my eBay sales are actually down too so there may be SOME truth to their claim. However, I would be very lucky to be getting 14 cents a click, I must say, and my zero motivation to invest in promoting EPN must surely be reflected among many other affiliates and CAN'T have helped their sales. The way December has kicked off this will be the first month EVER that my Amazon commissions will outstrip my EPN ones!
