http://www.currentnewsreport.com See ebay auctions Just have 3 categories so far...just to test the waters. Bad thing....no revenue as opposed to using ebay's affiliate program.
I've been using ebay RSS feeds for a couple of months now, it works fine, the only thing is that sometimes takes a while to load the page.
That looks real nice and clean, what are you using to parse the feed? Have you found a way to get the pics to show? I have sort of, but then other formatting sucks. Can't get it all to work. Why no revenue, you can add your CJ code to the feed?
Will have to go to CJ and see if there is an rss feed for ebay. IF so, will change out quickly. Thank you.
You can generate feeds in three simple steps: 1. Go to the Advanced Search page. 2. Enter the search criteria that you want the RSS feeds to satisfy 3. Enter your affiliate tracking information at the bottom of the page and click Submit. The Search results page includes an RSS feed. The item links in the RSS feed includes your affiliate tracking information.
i use rssfeedreader. there are many benefits to using the ebay feed. 1. keyword based content 2. commission on the sales (if they happen) but the first reason is enough for me. here is a site i put it on www.porscheuniverse.com it's on the home page
Looks nice on your site. I also got it to work with pictures, and it looks pretty much the same as your with lastRSS.php. But am also going to try your reader. Both are free, how cool is that! Thanks for the reply.
Hope you don't mind looking at Britney Spears Pictures? This is a test page, not linked on the site yet. But works and looks just like yours. Pretty easy to do too, I just had to adjust 1 setting on the script.
Do you guys know if one can do the same thing for a HotJobs RSS feed and just stick your CJ affiliate code on the end of the links? I tried this and while I didn't register any clicks on CJ, I'm wondering if I'll still get credit if someone actually carried through to the lead threshold. Know what I mean? RSS is cool though eh?
http://search.ebay.com/thailand_W0Q...00QQsargnZQ2d1QQsaslcZ0QQsaslopZ1QQsofocusZbs Can you just put this in the RSS reader. Sorry i am very new to RSS
There is an RSS link on the bottom of that page. It links to this: http://rss.api.ebay.com/ws/rssapi?F...cat=-1&from=R6&fcl=3&satitle=thailand&frpp=25 That is what you want to use. But you want to add your CJ id from the advanced search page so you get paid for traffic you send.
cprntr - Not sure if you're aware, but I think your ebay feed links are broken, you got some extra spaces in there that when removed fixed the problem. I also noticed that your links are essentially the cj.com link provided with your affiliate id, with a loc= variable pointing to the auction destination page. Can one do this with any cj affiliate link?
I'm building some pages using the above method, but when I got a feed from eBay UK's Advanced Search the time is shown as PDT not BST once I parsed it on my site. Can't see anything in the form to change it Here's a very unfinished example: http://kartlink.com/karts-for-sale/
