Well there were a lot of bids for it so I doubt if it was the people that work for him. I'm an azoogle customer and the sceenshot seems legit to me, plus I can confirm that my friend has a lot of money - not sure if it's just from this website in the auction but he has a lot of money.

Well, just though i'll clear that up. The auction went for much more than I thought ($10,100) so maybe there was more than you guys thought with the website.

Maybe the new owner could come and keep us posted on how much cash they earn. Would be interesting to see.

"so maybe there was more than you guys thought with the website"

No, it just means that there were 51 idiots in the world who bid on the site but lucky for 50 of them, only 1 actually lost their shirt on the deal.

"Maybe the new owner could come and keep us posted on how much cash they earn. Would be interesting to see."

One would hope that nobody visiting this thread bid on that scam.

Re: Blog - owner of site being sued

I hope this guy loses everything he earned from this scam and then some. The problem is that people pull stuff like this, get slapped on the wrist, and then just write off the legal costs as operating expenses and do it again.

The guy 's so rich that he can't afford a domain name. Really i still believe screenshots have been edited, that you were actively promoting a scam and you were part of it.

I remember you were trying to sell a mp3 portal. mp3/ringstones, same industry. Your reputation is deserved.

Now you see why we try to protect newbs from scams like this..

Next time one of you is about to question why I ask questions in people's sales threads, think about this sale....

A lot of other forums don't allow you to do anything but bid in threads. Then they wonder why there are complaints of people getting ripped off for huge chunks of money.

lmao, but it's his "friend" I thought.

tdnetworks... after all that cool talk you still in the end showed your true colors and ripped this guy off. Thanks for proving us all right for being skeptical. Don't expect to be able to sell anything else on any of the major B/S/T forums without me linking to this thread ;)

Its YOU, claiming one more time that you make a lot of money, now we know where you get it from, and its certainly not from ringstones and other mp3 front businesses to hide scams :D :D :D

Sitepoint is the worst scum right now... you try to alert people of any scam and they delete the post and you can end up banned.

I agree with you George, at least here you won't get ripped off by some crook like this guy

Agree totally.... and DNforum has that wierd thing where every thread in the "Websites for sale" forum begins with "Developed Website:".. what could be the purpose behind that. It makes all the deals look the same on first glance.

When they did the most recent layout change at Dnforum they made users fill out some crappy template when they want to list a site.

Terrible, I agree, it looks horrible. I've stopped visiting Dnforum lately and focus on Namepros now.

I've never taken Namepros seriously... but I guess I need to become a member there also.. given the current situation of hardly any good sites coming on the market.
