I currently have a site that is set up with Google Adsense and Ebay Partner Network links to products (mainly books) that I have reviewed. It is basically a website design learning project for me that I'm hoping may be able to make some sort of money by being monetized. I've started thinking lately that rather than only have the actual links within my posts direct traffic to ebay, it may be smart to have a section outside of the actual content that also leads to other products on ebay. So, here is my primary question: How do I create an "ebay related products" section on the right side of my site that will display products that are relevant to the specific post's content? My site has been built with WordPress and I am currently using a 2015 child theme. I have learned a little bit about coding while working with adjusting the current left sidebar and in a variety of other ways. I'm far from being a "seasoned" coder but I'm pretty comfortable changing stuff to suit my needs with some guidance from somebody. My end goal is to get an area on the right side of the site that displays current ebay listing for products that are relevant to the content of each separate post. For example, on each of my posts about a book I have reviewed I would like 3-5 related books to show that are currently being sold on ebay. On my posts about musical instruments, I would like 3-5 similar instruments to show that are on ebay at the moment. I think it goes without saying that I would prefer for the traffic that follows these product posts to ebay to be accounted for in my Ebay Partner Network account. Initially, my thoughts were that it might be wise to create a responsive sidebar that mirrors the primary sidebar, except that it includes the "Related Products" section instead of the Navigation, Recent posts, etc. widgets. On further thought, I realized that might create issues in displaying products that were related to the content of the specific posts. I've done quite a bit of searching around for information that might get me started off in the right direction, but have come up with very little so far. If anyone has some experience or any advice on how I might implement this plan, it would certainly be greatly appreciated. Also, if I left anything out that may be good to know in helping me get this plan off the ground, or if I was at all unclear about what I want to accomplish, feel free to let me know. All advice and input will be greatly appreciated. Thank You. -Richard
