Many of my eBooks are available for sale/free all over the net, so I do tend to receive lots of return visitors from the link in the e-books. I also started off with free membership so loads of sellers were selling on eBay and also giving them away for free. My site seems to do better than most; I would say it was mainly down to the ebook link. My site www.ebookwebsales.co.uk Thanks Brian
I am now listing again on Ebay and what I am going to do is make the sales and the people who absolutely do not want a cd can have their bill adjusted for the cost of shipping and just get the link or an email with the program. As long as this happens after the sale I do not see what Ebay can say about it as it was listed under their terms. For me it is a long trip to the post office and with the hours they keep I cannot work (when I am working outside of home) and get there anyway. Paying someone else to send a cd is nonsense when I have the means to do that myself.
I'm very unhappy with Ebay's decision in this matter. I had found this tool very useful for selling e-products.
Folks seem to be getting around that by adding $1.00 shipping charge even though its a digital download. Just try buying a website from ebay.
