I've bought an item on eBay yesterday (my first eBay purchase) and I wonder if there is any way to find out if the seller has already dispatched the package or not? I can't find anything like that in my eBay account.
Sometimes, the seller will mark the item as dispatched. however this is not reliable as they do not always do this. The only real way is to ask. Notting
usually if you check your email it will say the item has been marked sent. may not always be the case
If the seller uses the PayPal shipping service you will receive a notice when the label is purchased and the shipped icon will show in your "my ebay". Labels do not have to be used the day they are purchased. Getting the package in the mail the second business day after payment is received is considered a very fast turn around. Two-four days is more normal. In other words it most likely is n't going to be there for Christmas.
Thanks guys. I know it won't arrive before Christmas, but that's not problem, as it's not a gift. I was just wondering if there is any way to check if the seller has already sent the item or not yet. I asked him to send it ASAP, I paid instantly, but it seem like it hasn't been sent yet, as it's not marked as "sent" (or dispatched). But maybe its already on it's way. I will e-mail the seller.
