eBay Motors RSS feed?

How come when I try to create a feed from a subcategory of eBay Motors, say, Cars and Trucks, there is no feed available? Can you not create a feed from a subcategory?

Also, even creating a feed from an advanced search which just searches eBay Motors, I still get this "Feed Error" which others have mentioned. Some people suggested deleting certain parameters gets this working, but it doesn't seem to for me. Any luck with this anyone?

The eBay Motors RSS feed is strange. Categories aren't implemented correctly, you'll have to do some advanced searches to narrow down what you're looking for instead. That is actually a plus if you really get your targeting down.

Thanks for the response. Yes, I suppose it means you have to focus on some smaller niches...! Like "right-hand drive 1984 Lada Nivas" or something!

P.S. It is a shame though - surely when the categories are implemented properly it makes it far easier to search for specific, say, models, years etc. It is pretty hard to filter those out via search. If I search for "Lada Niva" it is going to be hard to get JUST the vehicle, and not Lada Niva fenders, seats, ashtrays etc. etc.

Well to filter out the parts just set your "Min Price" to about $1000 or the equivalent in your local currency. High enough to get rid of the parts, but low enough to get most of the cars listed.

You-d be surprised how much a Mustang fender costs... :) It's true though, this does narrow it down a lot, I did the same. But I would still prefer accurate searching to be provided by eBay - seems strange not enable this.
