Ebay Listings and Google Duplicate content?

    Hi,

I have a website with around 33 categories, and 300 + products, I have just opened a eBay shop.

If I simply copy and paste the 100+ words I have on each product ( in quite a few cases 250 words +), will my website be seen as having duplicate content to google, and get penalized for it?

    Any Thoughts appreciated.

    Thank you

    No.
This is very unlikely because the vast majority of the content of your pages on ebay, will be totally different.
Ebays page template code, layout etc

If the page you were copying the descriptions onto had an identical page layout as your own website (same html and so on) then you might run into problems, but in the case you have mentioned above you should be fine :)

Good luck with your new shop :D

eBay template i different from your website. Some fiels need to be amended, such as layout.links and more. For my opinion, you should get more information about ebay (eBay rules) from eBay forum first.Good Luck!
