Ebay like ecommerce software/cms

Hi Forum,

Well I recently decided to experince how hard it is to come up with E-commerce website, Where Users could post their own item, Just like ebay.

I have tried couple like Magento, But they are all basically just business2cosumer, Where I am the only one selling, while other customers/users can only buy from me..

I have only some basic requirements are,

1 - Could be paid CMS or free, Dont care as long as registered users can post their items. i.e a registered user can be a seller or/and a buyer, under the same account

2- Registered users are able to create their own store and edit their stores html/css, just like in Zen cart. ( not really important, But i'd love it if the feature are there )

3 - Need a configurable, and flexible cms, am ready to face the challenges =). Like basically, i dont need gay stuff like WP ecommerce plugin, because come on, we all know it, that thing aint very flexible..

Please leave justifications along with the suggestions, So i could know why you suggest what ever you suggest

 

Yeah. It is easy to make ebay like shopping site, all you need to do is, finding right shopping cart software to make your e-shop.
According to your need, AJ Shopping cart script would be helpful for you.

 

xcart pro version? They have vendors, still one storefront. Still some adjustments may be required.

 

Why dont you try, Zeuscart.com . An open source shopping cart script which is similar to ebay.

 

All those scripts or CMS you guys offered aren't like ebay...Visitors Cannot register and List their products! I have to register them and list their products..

Opensource softwares could be edittted and stuff, but i aint got the knowledge :/
