I think it'll really depend on the quality of your content - but you should just give it try and see what happens. The good thing about ebay is the massive amount of traffic it receives - so if you have a good product (at a reasonable price), it should sell.
Norebbo is right on. It does depend a lot on the quality. All the other eBay contingencies apply too (whether you can get your listing in front of the right people etc.) I check some sections of eBay regularly for sites and templates and it seems very up and down in those areas. Check the completed items and you'll see.
Absolutely no, once you sold in Ebay, the one who bought basically package everything into a bigger package and resell them. Copyright seemed non existent to them.
