Sorry if this has been covered, I tried a search and didn't find a thread on this. Ebay apparently has started their own contextual advertising program and google adsense doesn't seem to care due to the fact that they view these ads as ebay ads more that contextual advertising ads. Here is a link about the program More information here Here is Ebays site for the program Thoughts?
I've had some really great results with eBay on certain sites. It converts pretty well, but it really depends on how expensive of a product your site discusses. If you promote eBay and AdSense at the same time, it can be an explosive combination.
Awesome to hear ! Glad eBay ads have been treating you well. I'm looking forward to a long partnership with them as I think that may fill a much needed void. No doubt google will try something similar. I give them a year.
I don't know if you'll be able to use eBay's contextual service alongside AdSense, but I just either add the eBay links by hand or via a PHP script I wrote. I don't plan on using eBays contextual ad network because I don't want to give up the AdSense money, plus my homemade eBay ads tend to get A LOT more clicks than AdSense or any other text-based contextual ad system.
You cant mix any other contextual ads with adsense, but they can be on separate pages. On pages that doesnt convert adsense well, ebay might work!
Everything I've read says you can use the ebay ads and the adsense ads. Do yall have any links / quotes from google that say other wise ?
