This might seem like a silly question, but in the eBay Editor Kit Agreement, it states: "Restrictions. YOU shall neither: (a) develop, manage, or maintain framing on the web page(s) displaying the EBAY CONTENT other than as specifically shown in the editor kit template" What exactly do they mean by this? Do they mean that the editor kit affiliate content cannot be displayed on a page that's framed, OR that the actual javascript source url (that's generated by the editor kit) cannot be displayed as a frame source? Sorry if this sounds confusing. Thanks.
You should post questions like this on the ebay affiliate discussion board at: http://forums.ebay.com/db1/forum.jspa?forumID=118 They actually do respond these days!
I was originally going to post my question on there, but then I noticed that nearly half of the posts had no replies. Thanks. I guess I'll post my question on there anyways. I know! SiCK used the "R" word!
BINGO!!! I have yet to ever get a 'r' from them and of course there message boards are dead!!! While CJ has or used to have a reputation of having bad support, they are MUCH better than ebay. I made a support ticket and they 'r' with in one business day, and next business day after me 'r'ing back. Two 'r's and I had it fixed. (R= Respond/reply, for those of you in Rio Linda.)
Agreed. I remember the days when CJ would take months to respond, if at all. These days, however, CJ seems to be a lot more responsive...and helpful too. Now, if only they could improve their tracking/reporting system. Haha, Rio Linda. That must be the neighboring village of La La Land.
It was just this week that I made that ticket. Rio Linda comes from Rush Limbaugh. When he wants to explain something to the n00bies, he says 'Thats XXX for those of you in Rio Linda.' Rio Linda is a town by Sacramento, California.
