Hi, I hate to tell everyone that using Paypal to receive payments for me has always been a headache, they always require me to send in documents to verify myself or for every transaction performed in my Paypal account. So I ended up waiting some 20-30 days sometimes to obtain access to my funds. I will like to check or accumulate a list of Ebay approved list of Merchant Account, Merchant Account Alternative or Payment Processors. Hopefully these merchant accounts also enable fund transfers to be made to my bank account like the Paypal system which enables you to enter your bank details and forwards the fund to a bank account as indicated, or access to my funds via a debit card like Payoneer's card. I have came across 3 Ebay compaitable merchant accounts, but do not think they suit my requirements. Anyway, they are: -CCNOW -NOCHEX -Auctioncheckout I believe there are so much more out there, so please list some of those you know that might fit what I am looking for 1) Less waiting time or even no waiting time before I can have access to my funds upon receiving my ebay payments. 2) funds can be withdrawn to a bank outside of the US. Please assist me and thanks in advance!
You can use a standard merchant account provider and then find a 3rd party checkout system for receiving the actual payments. There are a number of checkout systems that are ebay certified and will work with many US based merchant accounts.
Thanks for replying, will you or anyone please enlighten me further. Is there an ebay certified 3rd party checkout system that works with an international merchant account provider?
The problem with eBay is the monopoly of their company with PayPal, you only are allowed to accept PayPal, if you want to accept more ecurrencies you should accept PayPal in the same advert so the possibilities to be paid by the others decrease.. And the other ecurrencies allowed are 1 or 2, even less. Moneybookers was talking to make a deal with eBay US but the law didn't allow them eventually. They want to know all transactions involved in the sell item process and with 3rd parties it can't be done. For example, HooPay, Alertpay or similar ecurrencies are not allowed because they are power competitors and if the people start to accept different companies than PayPal, the business of eBay will decrease easily. Every day more people hate PayPal for charge backs, disputes with buyers, etc.. I think if you get a merchant account to accept credit cards will be enough. Cheers
Hi, thanks iseree! My own personal merchant account will definitely be the best of all solution. The problem I'm facing now is to find a checkout system compatible with ebay and have my merchant account linked to the checkout system. Another problem I am having is because I couldn't find a good merchant account that allows non-US citizen sign ups. Initally I found some merchant account provider like CCNOW or NOCHEX, but they don't seem to mention anything about an ebay checkout system where buyers will be directed to make payments from the auction listing. Auction Checkout and Auctiva Checkout seems to be the perfect solution for a moment, but later found out the merchant account providers that are linked to both checkout systems only accepts US citizen to sign up, unless I have a US bank account, US address and also a SSN, which is almost impossible for me. I heard about ebay compatible shopping cart, but aren't too sure if that is what I am looking for, might need some research again. I definitely do welcome... haha in fact I beg you guys out there who are experts in this field to stand out and show me your guidance, because I believe there are many more people out there like me, who does not have the priviledge to be born in the US, but is determined.
when your store need to accept international Payment my alternative suggestion is http://www.perfectmoney.com you can see there you tube presentations here and I am sure they are reliable also for payment store here the Youtube link
I think that you can't link a merchant account directly with the checkout process on eBay website because their code is secret and the ecurrency or merchant companies have not access to eBay code to integrate, programming and implement an API gateway. The best solution for you is to hire a coder and make the following application: - Find a merchant account with access to funds instantly. I think that you will never find it, because Merchant Accounts works directly with banks, and there are "reserve times" to prevent fraud and different things because you are not required to identify your card, id...Maybe the card was stolen and the buyer is a cheater.. So I recommend you to find a good ecurrency where you can upload funds with credit card as HooPay or Alertpay. They have a good verification program and the transaction will be never rejected. Maybe HooPay best because they have alert sms when you use it. - When you sell on eBay you will receive an email informing you about the success transaction. You can hire a coder to make an application: - Get the email of buyer. - Fill a form with final price, shipping cost.. - Save the form and send to the buyer email. - The form will has a button to pay in merchant or ecurrency. When you get the payment you will receive an email informing about payment. - The buyer will has a ticket code to know the shipping process, status.. Or something like that..But remember that: If you buy on eBay you are protected if you use PayPal, so if you use other payment the protection is not covered. It is knowing by buyers so you will loose them. BTW, I buy lot of things on eBay Germany and there are many stores using that type of checkout systems outside eBay, stores without PayPal as payment method. Cheers
