eBay commissions - newbie question

    EBay says on its affiliate program page that you can "Earn between 50% and 75% of eBay’s Revenue (not item sale price) on Winning Bids or Buy It Now (BIN) transactions".

    So I wonder what's the average eBay's revenue? Let's say I get a referral who makes a $100 sale. How much is eBay's profit of these $100?

    I think what you're asking is: If a Gizmo sells for $100, what is the eBay fee, and what is your percentage?
