Im a member of the following eBay affiliate programs. Ebay US, UK, Canada, France, and Australia. I have a page that I display items on that are from a USA seller who has a lot of international sales. Currently I am using an IP tracker to send them to direct what link they get sent through. For example, if their IP address is from Canada, I sent them through the Canada eBay affiliate link and send them to the item on the Canadian website. http://www.qksrv.net/click-*******-....ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=(Item ID goes here) (replaced my ID with ******) If they are from the UK I send them through the UK eBay affliliate link and to the item on the UK website. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-5232-2978-1/1?AID=9479574&PID=********&mpre=http%3A//cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D$itemID (replaced my ID with ******) Is this the correct way to to this or should I be sending them all to eBay USA? Do you get credit based upon the international site the seller is selling on or do you get it on the international site that the bidder is from?
you will receive commission from the ebay (country) used for the purchase. it does not matter where the buyer is. eg if the buyer is in south africas and he buys from us ebay you will receive commission from us ebay provided he went there with your us ebay pid. if he went there with a pid from ca, uk or au you will not receive anything.
I was looking through some of my old commissions from ebay UK and noticed that I received some commissions from ebay UK for items that I sold on ebay USA. Does that mean that since I sent them to ebay UK, even though my item originated from eBay USA, I still got the commission since I sent them through the UK rover link? Wouldnt that be the best way to do it since the buyer is more likely to buy additional items through ebay UK from other sellers while they still have the cookie?
