Does eBay still pay by the sale or do they just pay by click pricing? And if so what is click pricing, just clicks?

    Thanks

Yes, eBay (EPN rather) now uses a click pricing system where you're paid based on the value of traffic you bring to eBay. It's purely subjective on their part and there's little to no information on exactly how it works. It's just a system run off of an algorithm they've created. Too secretive if you ask me...

That explains it, when they switched to click pricing my revenue seemed to drop and I started changing my eBay affiliate links to other affiliate programs. But I'm using a keyword that has a number of searches for "vintage" or "antique" and was thinking of eBay again.

    Thanks

Bob, you're not the only one - a lot of people got very upset and frustrated with the new system. So far, April has been the worst month I've ever had.

ebay is pushing away a good source of income, affiliates, because they don't see the long term growth; they only worried about next Q2 Q3 results (Short term thinking). They went from paying good money to being a mess IMO ;)
