hey guys..i just sold some items on ebay.. i havent recieved payments yet...sold the items 3 days back.. the buyer says theres a problem with Ebay checkout through paypal...he even sent me a pdf screenshot of paypal... can someone who recently bought an item verify this? i need to buy some stuff..so i need that money urgently and its not a small amount..
sorry..i am not bumping this thread..but its really urgent...some one please verify.. i am not mad or something..i just need that amount to bid on another stuff..which is ending soon ;-)
I've bought and sold on ebay today, sending and receiving money through paypal in the process, all with no problems.
hmm..so he must be telling me lies or something... but he attached this pic.. i mean he sent me a pdf of his paypal..i converted it to jpeg as the pdf was too big what do u guys think?? btw i am talking about EBAY US..not others..as the item is sold in US>.
should i file an Item not recieved?? i feel its too early..actualyl iwould have waited for days..its jsut 3 days back i sold it..but the thing is i am needing the money urgently..thats why i dont know what to do.. still waiting to hear from some US buyers..
I've never seen any thing like that before, I'm sure it's fake. That may have been when PayPal was down but that was only for a few hours. He is probably using that as an excuse, you haven't sent him the items yet? Check if he has positive reps, if he doesn't have any, he is probably a scammer.

ok so finally the guy pays me...but now theres another problem..i started selling ebay recently..so help me on this.. in my MyEbay summary under the item it shows "Checkout complete" symbol and under the payment symbol it shows"This Item is pending payment through paypal" what does this mean? i didnt recieve the payment yet..i have sold items before..this didnt happen..it just shows this item has been paid through paypal etc... any sellers feedback??
If I'm not mistaken, but when someone pays by credit card via paypal, there is usual a 2-3 bussiness day proccessing involved.
How hard can this be? The picture CLEARLY looks fake, and simply log into your account and see the recent activity. If no money is in your account, he did not pay. I actually think I am prety lost with what your asking. You think he can't pay you, or DOESN'T want to pay... Therefor telling you he can't. If that is the case, tell him to pay you via check and then if still no, report him. I use .ca, but I don't see the difference. Paypal is only .com
Looks fake to me - Why couldn't you just give him your paypal address and have him send payment that way. Would be a different option instead of using Ebay Checkout.
no..he was not a fraud or something..he finally did pay.. because now in my MyEbay i can see the checkout symbol is there and also the thing that it shows payment pending..but in paypal i dont see any payent recieved or something.. he did tell me though that he was having some problem checking out through myebay..so he directly went to paypal and paid there...where it shows Ebay items won.. but if he didnt pay me..how could that payment pending thing be showing?
but i didnt recieve the money yet.. i jsut did some research on ebay site and ther ei found that it shows payment pending if someone pays via Creditc card or e Check.. i emailed him asking whether he paid through these or through the balance he had in his paypal.. lets see what happens..
