I'm on to the Buy It Now button that I'm not sure how to put the price. Should I include delivery charge into the price or state it in the item description? If I do that, the buyer might missunderstood. Can someone explain this to me?
The Buy it Now price and Delivery Charge are completely different. You can include the Delivery Charge in the Item Description if you want, but that is not needed as there is a box below your description explaining all your delivery settings and fees that you set. People will not get mixed up at all, because when they go to pay it, it clearly tells them the price of the item and the Postage Fee. Good Luck with your Auction !
Thanks for your reply! Apparently, that's my problem. I think the buyer must have missunderstood the price. Now I'm worried about -ve feedback.
Another reason to keep postage and buy it now price separate is that you pay eBay fees on a percentage of the actual price of the item, no fees are charged on the postage price.
Yes, you always have to pay fees. Even if you have a listing that doesn't sell, you have listing fees.
What wasn't said is that some of the fees are refunded if the item does not sell. It's very complex..and only with time and digging into those help pages will you understand how all the fees work. Bryon
