    I have been working and selling online and on ebay since last 8 years, I have not found any match to Ebay till yet. I guess Amazon had once come close to what Ebay has achieved but it could not sustain its power on the top for a long time. I doubt anyone would be having so much to hold to the top for so many years now ;)
    BTW I am saying globally, within individual countries many online selling sites have surpassed ebay already, like one in China : taobao
