Has anyone here used the Ebay API?

I am wondering if it allows you to somehow list each auction as a crawlable page in your site?

I don't think it can do that.

I think it would allow you to query their database and use the resulting data as you please ... sort of. Not specific pages, but catagories, search results, sorting, and the like.

As you might notice, I to am interested in what the eBay API can do, but mainly how best can I use it effectively? ah ha!

I am also very interested. However, they are not nearly as open as Amazon's program. I'm not advocating Amazon's program as better, just the price is better. Amazon's ECS (Previously AWS) is totally free.

Anyone actually use the eBay API?
Can you give us a page that uses it so we can see what kind of content it can provide?

I would have impulsed bought in some delusion of riches by now if you didn't have to pay for each query.

Yeah... agreed. The prices they charge one could just make an API that really just screen scrapes. :)

I think they call that the "five finger discount". Or was that ten?
