Ebay and SERP domination days over?

I was surfing around a bit and suddenly I thought about how long it was since I've seen top 10 results from Ebay.

For example, when I use a keyword like "Ray Ban sunglasses" I don't get any Ebay results.

Even when I typed "Ray Ban sunglasses buy" there where no top 10 ebay rankings, normally for this keyword the SERPS would have been overcrowded with ebay auctions...

The same with "wooden desk" and "buy wooden desk".

Anyone has an explanation for this?

Interesting, they used to be on the first page for a lot of items.
Im glad to see them go down because it makes competing with them easier :)

It seems Wikipedia is going to beat out eBay in that dept.
