ebay and bidding on ebay keywords

    if I start an ebay oriented site but have ebay banners on it ad cj says

    am I able to bid on any phrase with ebay in it like "make money on ebay" since I am sending them to my info site and not through an affiliate link?

    I should add my competitor does it anyway and pisses me off

    Per the eBay terms, you cannot bid on the word "ebay" or any misspelling of it.
