Hello all I have a question regarding ebay affiliate links. I have a couple of amazon review sites where I review and promote amazon products thru their associates program. I want to add some ebay links as another option to my readers. For example, I do a review for a Kitchenaid mixer and it is selling for $300.00 on amazon, but ebay has a few for around $200.00 so, I link to one of those as an option. First question: What happens when that particular auction is over, does my link now go to a closed auction, or will ebay automatically find another kitchenaid mixer auction and link to that? Second Question: is there a Wordpress plugin that will automatically insert a link based on my keyword criteria and find an open auction for that item, or even better rotate different offers. Thanks Al
I use a plugin called affiliate niche store but it doesn't appear to be available anymore. This uses the RSS feeds widget from the eBay partner network, so when an auction ends it shows any other auctions matching your search criteria. You should filter by category and may need some negative keywords to keep unwanted items out of the results. Some plugins to consider are Money Press and phpBay Pro. I have not used these but a lot of people recommend phpBay pro.
Thanks, I really like the phpbay pro although it looks like it has a bit of a learning curve. I could not find Money Press, do you have a link al
You can try my plugin, Wp Auto Affiliate Links. Has a module for ebay. Keywords will be replaced with links automatically. You can also specify links manually.
Hi. I have a really hard time deciding on a decent, reliable affiliate program. I am accpeted by quite a few like Amazon, Alibaba, Ebay uk, Ebay US, DX.com, CJ.com etc. The problems I find are maybe due to unexperience or lack of knowledge but.... CJ.com has such a huge load time I find it very annoying. Amazon has so many restriction to non-english buyers. I really like Ebay as a whole but find they partner programme time consuming to maneuver and to get the correct links needed for my posts/products and as many have stated, the fact the links become obsolete and needs to be replaced. Which one does not have time for, trying to build up a large blog/business. DX.com has a horrible Affiliate publisher meny, with no tracking or ways to see clicks and history. Any thoughts ? In reagards, are the plugins mentioned above; * Reliable ? * Free to use ? * Easy to setup/use and in general worth using ? Lets say, for 3 sites with a variety of different product reviews/affiliate links? Any input would be appreciated highly
