I have had a wordpress site for a few years now and I have just sold it for $6,000. The site reviewed about 300 similar products. The site gets about 400 uniques per day and I'm lucky to make $50 per month with adsense. I've never tried the eBay affiliate program, but I see that now under each of my reviews, there is an link to an eBay page that offers a list of these and similar products. If this lady is willing to pay me $6,000 for the site, I must be missing the boat, no? I see that you can receive up to $50 per quality user: If this is the case, then I probably gave up $100 or more per day, right? Can anyone enlighten me (I'm feeling a little sick to my stomach as I put a LOT of work into the site....) Thanks!
you get $50 if someone signs up for ebay through your link. I would find it hard to believe that she would be able to get 2 new people to sign up for ebay everyday....half the world is probably already signed up!!! When linking to auctions you get a percentage of the sale...I think its around 4% or 5%. I don't think she would be able to make $100 a day from the site, but I suppose anything is possible. I think $6000 is still pretty darn good money to get from a sale. Kevin

She is paying you $6,000 for the site, because its established from years and probably already on TOP for major keywords of 300 products you reviewed. I agree with you richlowerclassjerk that $6,000 is a lot! However, Radz, Please tell me that is $1000 a month you are talking about, not a day, right? In a way, I feel awful for missing the boat * but * had I not sold it to her, I would have never known about the whole eBay affiliate avenue.
